Introduction
The Mayfair Emporium Society offers an opportunity for new and talented builders to (1) have a store presence in Caledon Mayfair, and (2) have their products promoted in Caledon and other period sims.
The goals are to:-
1) provide a basis for socialising and community engagement in a not-for-profit setting;
2) help new builders establish a presence in caledon and other period sims
3) to provide a basis for sharing technical and business knowledge,
4) support the rights of original content creators in SL
Membership
The society is run by the Chair, and may be assisted by executive members appointed by the Chair.
Successful applicants become Exhibiting Members for the first three months, after which they are invited to general membership.
Benefits of Exhibiting Membership
1) Multi-Item Vendor space in a commercial area of Caledon Mayfair
2) Support and assistance in loading products into Xstreet and Onrez
3) Temp rezzing of vended products may be provided at the Chair’s discretion
4) Advertising of the Mayfair Emporium and exhibits in community media such as The Caledon Strand, Caledon Forums, Radio Riel announcements, Group Chat IMs, sponsorship by the Emporium of social events.
